It is frightening and even humiliating to lose your home. Few can truly understand what you are going through right now. But we do. If you as an individual, or you and your family, are in need of emergency shelter, we want to help.
CARITAS offers basic housing, necessities, food, and support through a network of partner congregations. Gentle, caring, faithful people want to help you through this difficult time by opening their doors and hearts. You will not be judged by our staff or volunteers, and there is no cost to you. However, you must take the first step.
We invite you to contact Commonwealth Catholic Charities Central Intake or call them at 648-4177 to arrange a personal interview. If bed space is available, Central Intake will refer you to CARITAS (or another participating shelter program) for emergency housing. Know that you are not alone and that help is available. Make the call.
